The Cigna newsletter website is a quarterly platform for sharing corporate updates and fostering communication with the insurer’s business partners. However, the previous version lacked visual impact and struggled to engage newsletter recipients.

The client aimed to ensure the newsletter was fully responsive on desktop and mobile, while minimising load times for large volumes of corporate images.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Limited visual appeal and low user engagement

  • Inefficient image handling causing slow load times

  • Need for improved responsiveness and seamless email integration

THE SOLUTION

As part of the project team, my role included developing the site map, designing the user interface, and liaising closely with the client. Our design approach focused on:

  • Enhancing visual aesthetics and brand alignment

  • Integrating engaging hero images, icons, and smooth animated layouts to improve user experience

  • Optimising image compression and implementing quality control to speed up load times without sacrificing clarity

OUTCOME

The redesigned newsletter website delivered a visually appealing, responsive, and fast-loading platform. This significantly improved user engagement, reinforced Cigna’s brand identity, and ensured a smoother experience for business partners.
