Citi’s 2021 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report showcases the progress toward building more sustainable, diverse, and equitable communities across Asia Pacific. This edition highlighted the actions taken to advance Citi’s commitment to achieve net zero emissions, alongside broader initiatives that support a sustainable future in the region.


THE CHALLENGE

The report’s content was contributed by six individuals at different times, leading to inconsistencies in tone and structure. The project also had a tight six-week deadline, requiring:

  • Rapid review of past ESG reports

  • In-depth research on sustainability and climate action in Asia Pacific

  • Strict adherence to Citi’s global brand standards

  • Careful sourcing of impactful, on-brand imagery

THE SOLUTION

To ensure a cohesive and visually compelling report, I:

  • Developed section layout templates integrating text, images, and infographics for brand consistency

  • Prioritised tasks to optimise time and meet deadlines

  • Leveraged existing design assets to speed up production

  • Collaborated closely with stakeholders for alignment and feedback

  • Curated imagery that reflected both regional context and sustainability themes

OUTCOME

The final digital report delivered a unified narrative and strong visual storytelling, effectively communicating Citi’s net zero progress and sustainability efforts in Asia Pacific to a global audience.
